Art offers many colors to pick from for paint and accessories and brings the whole space together, creating harmony.

Using art to inspire my color palette

Color infuses a space with energy and is one of the easiest ways to invoke the feeling you're after in a room. I love picking out paint colors!

Vibrant color

It's kind of an obsession, really! I love to design pillows and other décor to coordinate with my art.

Where I stand on the super important stuff... Agree / disagree?

This      That

or

In 2004 I started photographing weddings for a local studio. I opened my own wedding and portrait business in 2008.

My business grew to include several associate photographers, and I photographed weddings and family portraits for 16 years.

Due to injury, chronic pain, and a very stressful lifestyle taking its toll on me, I needed to focus on my health and wanted to enjoy the few years I had left with my kids living at home. I was sick of 6 day work weeks and missing so much family time.

And now I’ve come full circle. I'm an empty nester and back to painting again in addition to my fine art photography.

When my daughter was born, I stopped painting because it wasn’t convenient having such short periods of time to paint.

I began creating art with my camera instead. I was super fascinated by the awe-inspiring details I captured with my macro lens. I began to notice beauty in the tiniest things that most people never stop to see.

After my son was born, I began working at several Milwaukee area hospitals photographing newborns.

As a kid every spare moment was spent creating art and I wrote stories that were so long they had chapters!

All through school I took every creative class I could fit in my schedule.
